For choices on this end of the valley it works Give them a shot and see for yourself. When I want something fast and local I'll stop by fersure. For quality choices they have slipped up a bit over the years. But still worth the time and location. 6.5/10
This place is always prompt and easy to pick up from. The owner is a real nice gentleman and friendly. The grilled chicken, Spanish rice, beans are really good. The grilled chicken with the house salsa is really the tastiest option on the menu. The tortillas were sort of cold and not placed on the grill it seems like. Overall not a bad place for take out. I think they need to also work on the interior to make it more up to date so we can eat there as well. I think they would get a lot more customers if it was modern and up to date in there.

Juicy, flavorful chicken, well seasoned sides and the shrimp cocktail was very tasty full of shrimp and perfectly sweet. The drinks were delicious and well balanced in sweetness. The service was sweet, great and fast.
It's like El Pollo Loco but way way better. They make everything with fresh large chickens roasted to perfection (not those mini ones from EPL). They also have a wide variety of traditional Mexican food which is excellent.
Don't be crazy, check out El Pollo Amigo in West Hills for some delicious homemade food at a pretty good price. Located in a crowded strip mall with limited parking, this chicken friend is ready to serve up some delicious grub at a pretty good price. On this particular visit, I went in for a Carne Asada burrito. A pretty good size for under $12, the burrito was packed full of delicious ingredients and the carne asada was marinated well. I also picked up a medium bag of chips and salsa. Plenty in the medium size for two people, and is a steal at less than $2. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. A few indoor and outdoor seating options, or you can simply grab a go. Definitely one of the tastier Mexican food options in the area. Would return!
I've been going to the spot a little over 20 years. This food is amazing. I'm probably the best Mexican food in the West Valley. Chicken tacos, I'll meat burrito with Carne Asada, shrimp plate, you name it, they got the best. I don't know why it's taken me so long to review this place, sometime good restaurants, and great food you just take for granted. I highly recommend this spot if you're ever in the neighborhood. I live over 30 miles away now but sometimes it's worth the drive. I swung by yesterday because I was in the neighborhood and it was just as good as the last time i ate there a year ago. R.I.P. Waldo.
